BeyondCorp (2014 paper) is Google’s zero-trust security model that eliminates the privileged corporate network. Access decisions are based on user identity, device state, and context rather than network location. This approach inspired the industry-wide zero-trust movement adopted by enterprises globally. BeyondCorp Enterprise is the GCP product.
