Anonymization vs Pseudonymization

Anonymization irreversibly removes identifying information, making the data no longer personal data under GDPR. Pseudonymization replaces identifiers with tokens that can be reversed with a key. Pseudonymized data is still personal data and subject to privacy regulations.
